I am Juanita Gaston, a professional genealogy and family historian, researcher, and instructor. In 2013, I founded JG RootsFinders, LLC - a genealogy and family history research company specializing in African American family history. I wanted to help others, especially African Americans, better understand where they've come from and some of the pivotal events and circumstances that create their unique family histories. Knowing the historical path of our ancestors can inspire, ennoble, and connect us.
To meet your research needs, I work with historians, archivists, librarians, and an array of other professionals. I have access to state archives and libraries and subscriptions to various genealogical databases. As a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists,
JG RootFinders is committed to ethical conduct and integrity with clients and business partners.
Please visit the contact page for a free consultation to let me know your research needs. I will be happy to give you a quote. No project is too small. Let's become partners so I can help you become empowered as we work together to discover your roots.
